IAMW stands for I Am Woman. We are shaping a women-focused not-for-profit initiative around connection, practical learning and participation.
Our starting belief
A woman deserves to be heard.
To make her own choices.
To see possibility.
Every story has more than one chapter.
Women’s lives cross work, learning, care, culture and community. Support should leave room for all of those parts, without deciding who someone should be.
Our first work is to listen, make useful resources easier to find, and invite people to shape what comes next. Motherhood was the starting point of our early planning prototype. Our purpose reaches across women’s lives.
We welcome women, including trans women, across backgrounds and life stages. Allies and organisations can contribute through volunteering, partnerships and shared learning.

Care
We centre listening, consent and dignity. Personal stories are never a condition of getting involved.
Practicality
A useful resource, a new skill or a connection can be a meaningful next step.
Honesty
We distinguish ideas in development from services available today. We do not promise outcomes we cannot deliver.
